"Overall, a solid class experience"
I found the class to be quite decent. I wish there had been a bit more hands-on practice during the first demo to better remember the instructions, but overall, it was a good session with excellent facilities!

"A Gourmet Haven for Food Lovers!"
You can find all sorts of goodies here, like sweets, tea, brews, spicy sauces, and even stuff to spruce up your kitchen or tools for roasting. This ain't a place you can just pop into for a minute. You’ll want to set aside at least an hour to explore, and honestly, that might still be cutting it short. It gets super crowded on weekends, particularly when UNC has a home game. If you can swing it, weekdays are the prime time to visit.

"Even though I long for the original..."
Even though I long for the original shop and everything it had to offer, I was really let down by how the company dealt with its own issues, going bankrupt and putting a lot of their suppliers at risk. Still, I keep suggesting this company for the classes and the eatery, and I've consistently had great experiences with their customer service.

"Enjoyable and Educational"
I had a blast at this cooking class. Sherri Castle was a real hoot and shared some great tips that were useful for both novice cooks and those with more experience. Cooking is my jam, and I was a bit concerned that I wouldn't pick up anything fresh at the class, but I was totally mistaken!

"Fantastic course for chefs of every skill level to gain knowledge."
Whether you're just starting out or a seasoned pro, this course provided some great insights and advice, covering everything from choosing ingredients and alternatives to prep techniques and make-ahead cooking. It was a fun and educational experience; definitely a good investment of both time and cash.

"Awesome Cooking Classes Experience"
The team at Southern Season's Cooking School really nails it with their cooking classes, whether it's demos or hands-on sessions, plus they bring in some super talented and friendly guest chefs. The latest one I went to featured Chef Keith Rhodes from Catch Restaurant in Wilmington, and I've already whipped up a couple of his recipes at home. I totally recommend Southern Season and their cooking classes for anyone who loves good eats! The portions are generous, and I usually end up taking some leftovers. The tasty wine pairings make for a perfect evening of culinary fun.

"Avoid Overextending Yourself"
Even though the chef had a lot of knowledge, he tried to juggle too many things at once. He frequently had to switch between different recipes and you could tell he was feeling the heat. Not sure if that’s why he came off as rude to the volunteers (just the ladies), but it felt out of place and not funny at all.

"Looking for more specialized hands-on cooking classes."
The last couple of hands-on classes felt like a real time sink. From now on, I’m sticking to non-hands-on unless they’re aimed at more advanced chefs. For example, spending a long time on chopping onions just didn’t cut it for someone like me who’s been through a ton of culinary courses. Is there any chance you could provide hands-on sessions for those of us with more experience in the kitchen?

"Joan Nathan's Take on Jewish Cuisine"
Joan Nathan was a captivating instructor. However, the three recipes she selected to prepare didn’t all meet her expectations, which was a letdown. I’d really enjoy a class with more chances to get involved, but it seems like Southern Season might not run their classes like that.

"Brought a smile to a southern gal."
I picked this up as a gift for a southern gal who moved away for romance. She really misses her roots, so as soon as we could, we shipped her the Heritage basket. She was thrilled and snapped some pics of it. To be honest, it was way larger than I thought it would be and looked super professional (I can't stand it when I order baskets and they don't match what I expected). I'd totally recommend this and will surely be ordering again.

"Shopping at Landmark"
This is one of the first spots we take our out-of-town visitors. It’s our favorite place to shop, whether it’s for local goods, a fantastic selection of home items, food, or even wines and beers. You can also grab a bite to eat or join a great cooking class here. We make it a point to visit at least once a week, either to dine or to grab some ingredients. My husband even manages to sneak in a weekly visit to the candy store. It’s one of the first places that made us feel 'at home' after relocating from the NY metro area.

"More Free Shipping Options Needed"
This was my first time ordering online. I really enjoy your coffee, even if it costs a bit. However, I faced some issues with the coupon codes. I attempted multiple times, and it wouldn’t work, but finally, it did go through, yet it didn’t apply the free shipping. $14 for shipping feels like a hefty charge.

"Need more hands-on experience in future classes"
This past weekend, my 9-year-old attended a cooking class. The place was nice, and the instructors were friendly and caring. However, my daughter felt a bit let down by how little actual cooking she got to do. She would have preferred more personal cooking time instead of just working on a dish that was mostly prepared by the teachers and then shared among everyone.

"The online ordering process is a total mess."
Your online ordering process is a total mess. For the fifth consecutive year, I attempted to spend around $4,000 on gifts for over 20 folks in my address book. I only managed to send to 4 before getting booted from your system (this isn’t the first time, mind you). When I tried to log back in, I discovered my orders were stuck in 'suspense' and I had no clue if the transaction went through for two weeks. I finally threw in the towel and went with Harry & David.

"Adore Southern Seasons"
I've been a fan of Southern Seasons since way back in 1975. The vibe there is always so cheerful; every shelf holds a delightful surprise. I often picked up wine from Southern Seasons since the Sommelier was super helpful with their amazing variety. My orders have consistently met my expectations, and the folks I’ve gifted them to feel the same ❤️
These days, having lived in Colorado for quite a while, I can say nothing else comes close!!!
